Our Services
- We provide sustainable and efficient waste management services to healthcare and non-health care sectors, including containment, collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal
- We service hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, mortuaries,old age homes, and funeral parlors
- Our services cover all forms of healthcare risk waste: infectious, sharps, anatomical, pharmaceutical, and cytotoxic waste
- Through innovation, we have a variety of consumables with technical barcoding to properly track and trace our containers during usage and transportation, ensuring that the supply and collection of containers is done efficiently and enables the recording of all waste streams through the issuing of a waste manifest (shipping document)
- This in turn guarantees and promotes a safe management system for generators and transporters of hazardous waste, and it closes the “cradle to grave” process of waste management
Collection
Medical waste containers are scanned, weighed, and collected by a healthcare risk waste worker
Central Storage
All collected medical waste is kept in a safe storage that is monitored 24/7. All HCRW is properly stored in compliance with SANS 10248-1:2008 (STORAGE OF WASTE)
Transportation
After weighing and classification, the waste is now ready to be transported to our treatment plant. Hazchem-fitted compliant and roadworthy vehicles are used for transporting HCRW in compliance with the Environmental and Traffic Acts to prevent any spillages and or road incidents from occurring.
